Moussa
Ndiaye
River landscapes and reverse glass paintings: the light of Saint-Louis, between tradition and contemplation.

Biography
« The river teaches me patience. Glass teaches me humility: there is no going back. »
Moussa Ndiaye practises two arts: oil landscape devoted to the Senegal River, and reverse glass painting, a Senegalese popular tradition he learned from the masters of the Medina.
His canoes at dusk and legends painted on the back of glass share one pursuit: holding time within an image.
